A few years back when I had my old Chris, I got quite a few parts off another wood Chris that a guy was going to cut up. I always wanted to get the transom and swim platform to make into a bar in my basement. Never got around to it somehow, but this would have complemented it nicely.

If it makes you feel better I have a restored like new Chris Craft console in my office and until last week a complete console off a 47 Commander in the living room! The living room console is in storage now, got tired of my wifes complaining. It was only there for 7 years. They don't understand.

Maybe I should put one of those helms in my bar. I kind of went with the nautical theme too. That helm is just what I need.

BTW, I still have half of a sheet of that teak and holly 1/4" plywood if anybody needs it. Pick up only (for obvious reasons).

Sky, That's one of nicest bars I've seen in a long time!! Did you do all the wood work? and what type of finish did you use. LOVE that look!!!
