Length of propeller shaft for 58' Yachtfisherman?

Hi everyone, by any chance does anyone know the total length of the prop shafts of the 58 YF?

You don’t have the blueprints? On my 53 they re 20’ long! Have to be longer… challenging to handle. Wheee are you getting them from? I had mines made by Tri County, across from Norseman. They also machined new 3 1/2” shafts for the 84 a few years ago. Reasonable prices

I'm missing the blueprints. I measured the length a few months ago when I hauled for bottom work. now i can't find my notes!

Mario... unless you find your notes with an EXACT measurememnt, youre gonna take some "dudes" word on the length? Youre gonna spend $3K on a shaft and if it comes in an inch short, YOU BOUGHT IT. Get blocked and pull yours out for a measurement. That way half the works already done.

You won't be able to get an exact measurement until you get the new engines/gears in there. Once they are set, you can measure. It won't be the same as with the Detroits.

Here are the details for our boat, 1976 YF, Hull 410.

Matt thank you! yes I can confirm that the OEM shafts are main 17.9 and stub is 7.
