  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
50' CONV -Series II (1979 - 1983)
does anyone know of 32 volt led lighting or will 12v led work?

i AM RUNNING INTO THE SAME THING IT IS DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!!!I just purchased a 52c some lights are 24 and some are 32 and there may be a 12 thrown in the crowd.
To answer your question i went to the local West Marine store and gandered through the catalog. There are some led that will go both 12 and 24 and 32 yes the same light. But naturally not any i need that is per the West Marine book and they had a few in stock and it said it would go both ways ...
To answer your question i just do not know. But i bet some one will chime in and help.

You might chceck out Tmart.com. Large selection and good prices.

Thanks for the replies. I have fixtures (exterior) that need to be replaced so want to try to go to led as needed. BTW i have a 1980 50 convertible.

I am investigating the same issue on my 1984 56MY. The headlining and lighting has been replaced by a previous owner and is fitted with a dozens of halogen lamps in the saloon and companionways and staterooms all run off teh 32V battery. I have found that many of the halogens are simply 3 x 12V halogen lamps in series. I am intending to separate these out to wire fittings in parallel and swing the source wiring back on the supply side of the DC breaker to my 12V battery supply if possible. The 12V dual battery replaces the dozen battery eating , heat generating 32V-12V converters
