Just did this last spring in opposite direction.
Norfolk to Sandusky Ohio in 52c with full tower.
ran 9 straight days.

What route did you take with a full tower. I'd guess you need 35 feet clearance.

X2. You can't get under most bridges on the canal with a full tower. Even a Marlin tower would be too high on a 52C

Post up a pic of the 52C with full tower going thru lock E17 if you have one. I would like to see how you did that.

Slight modification but when through with tower and out riggers on board.

I think it's fair that when you say you made the trip in a 52C with a full tower, the implication is the tower was in place. How's the new boat working out? I've heard several times that Cowboy was a nice 52C

Cowboy was a good original 52' looked at a lot of unworthy canadates first.
Still, working through a long list of upgrades and repairs 1.5 years later.
Love the boat so far.
