kilopak generator

Does any one have any info on Kilopak generators? New boat has either a 6 or 8kw kilopak with a
3 cylinder Izuzu diesel engine. No manual and I don't have any diesel experience.
The website is pretty worthless. Thanks

I have a kilopack 15, Iszuz powered, 4 cylinder. What's the problem?

I just bought the boat and don't have a manual. I don't know anything about diesels. I havent tried to start it. it looks to be in good condition. not much use.

Change the oil and filters every 250 hours, change the impeller every 500 hours, and you will be fine.


Mine has 12,000 hours and going strong. A reliable package.

Be brave, fire it up. See what happens.

If there's oil in it there's not a whole lot you can do to kill it.
