I am trying to paint and update my cockpit, the vents for the ER are really dated looking. I have searched a lot but cant find anything, I have seen people make the out plexiglass but I am not sure how to do that..... any ideas? Thanks

this is the same type that Hatteras uses today. Check with Sams they should have one.

I was hoping this was a chance to rant...I'm in the mood...

I'm not sure such vents have changed much...seems like hull vents have largely different edge shapes these days, like teardrops maybe, rather than any better looking interior grill..
There are many varieties of all vinyl vents for homes these days....??

You might try Marine Systems...Ed makes some nice grills...Most any kind of wood...Or even in white plastic...

Unless you must have something different, you might try bead blasting and powder coating.

I like the idea of White PVC. White PVC can also be painted with Awlgrip or Imron etc. I know I had some white pvc access panels in the sides of cocpit and painted them with Awlgrip, came out nice and held up nice.
