Obviously needed more fenders hanging off of semi-random locations.

And blue tape.

A little bondo and tape and she'll be just like new.

Powers still out here

Someone told me a local can't figure out what happened to the jet ski that not on the lift anymore.

And this person lives on the canals.

WTF?

I hate to see damage like that no matter if it's a Hatteras or not. Hope they are insured. Repair locations are going to be busy.

Do fools not tie a few lines even if it's on a lift?

I was able to get to Windmill Harbor tonight and I am relieved to report "SLOW AN EASY" has no damage. Water came up over 4 feet above normal. I know there are one or two other Hat owners in here. If you want me to check your boat let me know ASAP. I am leaving @0700 in the morning and will be back tomorrow night.

Security is keeping people out as the road is barely passable.

Best to all,

Russ:cool:

Watch out for debris! Docks entire trees and every kind of floatsom will be coming down out of the rivers into the ICW and NC sounds

I should go collecting. Then I can build me a new house to replace the van down by the river.

But more serious, looks like most people didn't get hit too hard by th Storm. I'll never understand the loop back path they predicted, though. So much for "data" and computer power.

I, for one, am glad we are not reading any horror stories here!

Some boats were lost just not actve members boats .

A few people died. Many have severely damaged homes or businesses.

My shop lost the roof. My friends up the road lost a roof on their home.

While we mostly made it through ok we should be thankful and helpful to those who didn't.

Picking up pieces of my broken dock. I lucked out and got a great son in law! Hung in there through the whole ordeal.
