And here I sit at anchor 5 miles south of Hobucken, NC. Watching it closely.

My guess would be away from the storm.

;)

But he is on his yearly trek north.

Looks like things are getting busy early on. Hope this isn't an indication of a bad season.

Here at the boat this morning putting on some extra lines. Colin expected to come right through Jacksonville dumping very heavy rain.

Darn you Scott. QUIT POSTING THAT WARNING. The Big Rock tourney starts this coming friday night I hope its gone or peters out ...

Should be long gone by then. Looks like they expect this thing to move through pretty quickly. Hopefully that will minimize the impact as this storm has the potential of dumping a lot of rain. Looks like Tampa through Jacksonville will see the worst of it. Good luck to all in it's path.

Familiar ritual in Tampa; put out big ass storm lines, multiple fenders, remove canvas / cushions, etc... GROAN

Was working on a Tiara this morning. Went to get a tool and the dock was under water. I had to wade to the truck.
I have the Hatt getting the bridge painted and it is inside the building.
Took the Chris off the lift yesterday and have it in the Hatt's slip.
Water is over the seawall now. I just fished out a leaking jerry can that was putting out a slick.

Yesterday I secured my out of town customers boats.
Amazing how so many people did nothing to prepare.

Amazing how few made no attempt to prepare.
That's because you care about your boats and don't want anything to happen to them. Good luck, hopefully it will be a non event.

which way you going

North. We moved up this morning to the Pungo River just south of the canal. Looks lie we sit here until Wednesday for Colin to clear out.
