It's block heater day - Tstat question

I put plug in thermostats in the outlets where the block heaters plug in.

I set the Tstats to turn on when the engine room temp gets below 70.

You can also program the Tstats to go on and off when u want

Shh. Don't tell my 36 year old water heater that has had daily use now for nearly three years. I'm dreading that first cold shower, or worse, the sudden rupture in the back of my closet.
