I thought the same. The 330hp MP is a 7.4l 454. Another big block Chevy would be the easiest repower

Modern big block gas with fuel injection would be a sweet ticket.

But, when talking about the HP number, you need to dig deeper than just the max rating listed. Dan has a 34c on here with "lower" HP engines (was it 270???), but when you look at the HP charts, at cruise RPM the "lower" hp engine makes the same power as the 370hp.

Since very few run their boats at WOT, the higher HP is only useful for emergencies and bragging rights. So 315hp may be fine as long as the power curve is flat enough to make good speed at lower RPM.

The 520 would not on my boat. Would have to raise floor a foot or more. Pretty. I bet two running side by side would sound GREAT!
