  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
50' CONV -Series I (1966 - 1969)
Not Hatt related but we have some pilots and music people on here. My sons in Mia checking out in the 767, he's been hanging out with the lead singer of iron maiden who's getting typed in the 747. I didn't know iron maiden was still that big a deal that they could affoard their own 74. I told him to hit them up for a job. Just access to the groupies would be worth it! Lol

That is one Bad@$$ bird, but there's something a little funky about the picture. Too many antennas and that bulge on the nose don't look quite kosher.

However, if they're doing well enough to fly the Queen of the Skies. God bless 'em.

Never been much of a fan but they are considered to be one of the biggest and most successful heavy metal bands ever. They had a very long run of strong selling albums from the early '80's through the late 90's. They released an album about 4 or 5 years ago that sold millions and charted near the top if not #1 for a long time. I know their 2016 tour is sold out world wide and tickets are big money if you can get them. Pretty cool that they have such a private jet. Have to give them credit for staying relevant for so long when most fizzle out after a few years. Your son should try to get a job with them or at least stay in touch. I'm sure they have some interesting friends who also own their own jets.

Heavy metal guys are always trying to show off their bulge.

Thats their new bird. They had a huge jet ( not sure if it was a 747) that Bruce the singer was piloting around. They did a major world tour in 2006 I think. A documentary was on tv about it last yr. Seen those dude's in "87" in the little Toledo Sports Arena. Bruce just got through a throat cancer scare recently. Now that's Murphy messing with your singers vocal chords aint it?

I flew Wayne Newton for two years. The Chief is a cool dude just terrible at managing money. Also a good helicopter pilot.

Also flew Leslie Robert (Bob)Hope for two years. Some of my best times......He got us in the 25th anniversary of space flight in DC. He was the main card. Humbling to be among-st that level of talent. Sheppard, Young and Crippen were hilarious!!!!

Close friend flew Buffet He still flys his own Falcon 900, Def Leopard and Phil Collins.

Mostly you move at night after the show.

A bunch more some good some that would not make good fish bait. J lo and Richard Gere the fish would throw back!!!!!!

Oh and Gerald Ford REALLY is that clumsy! favorite food PB & J.

I flew Trump in a Falcon 10 during his first BK. Decent guy.

APPLETON OUT:cool:

The must have upgraded. I think they had a 757 or 767 in the past. Remember, it's not the purchase price, it's the fuel and maintenance! Though, they probably lease it. I know the guys make good $$, but to outright buy a jet that price seems up there. Who knows!?

Trump has always operated old airliners. I used to fly into PBIA and would see him with his 727. There was an article about how we would buy an old airliner for a fraction of what a biz jet would cost.
