There were a few Huckins jet boat built.
The later ones were synthetic cored hulls and were scary fast.

Not sure if the QSM11 or jets are original on this particular hull.
Hamilton jets were the norm.

With a hull number, a phone call to Huckins can answer many questions.

I pitched this look to the wife when refitting our 48 YF. Similar lines if you ditch the flybridge for lower center of gravity. Ultimately, bridge won out but I sometimes wonder which would have been the better route. Outside access from the helm looks difficult. "Excuse me. Coming through."
Plenty of jets in our area. I still prefer the sound of exhaust and prop wash. Seems like a ton of boat for the price.

What a beautiful boat. Very old fashioned and 'yachty'. All that joinery.....sigh.
