It is raining and I have some help, and I want to deep clean the wood inside the cabin. That led to removing the teak trim and a discovery that when you remove the trim around the port side cabinet in the cabin you open up something new. Thought you might like to see what is behind the paneling.
i removed my walls and installed foil faced rigid foam insulation in the framing, corners sealed with spraycan foam . every little bit helps in climate control .. especially air movement . the cabin sole is adequate with sound insulation as is the headliner with 1" balsa core . there are quite a few large holes that went from cabin living space to that area. I sealed those off ( stbd side behind co2 tank at top )
I assume the screen was originally mounted on the vent box since that makes sense and the size of the screen matches the top of the box. I could not see what was used to attach the screen.
