I hope you can recover fast and enjoy the rest of the boating season. I too had back surgery about 10yrs ago, did not take any pain meds though and still dont that stuff can be worse than the pain.

Drugs? "Just say no!" The Admiral broke her shoulder a few years back and had to deal with the same issue. Fortunately, she was successful, as you will be. But I hope you don't curse as much as she did!
