Our U-line up on the flybridge has worked great for eh 3.5 years we've had the boat. Makes more ice than 4 of us can use in a day and has been zero issues, except for cheap-all poly supply line that has split and been replaced 2 times in 3 years.

That damn line split again a few weeks ago and has now been replaced with 1300psi stainless braided flexible line.

I cleaned up the drive gear in the icemaker and put a little PTFE on it, turned up the water a bit and now we have ice. It's been running great for about a month. Apparently, the drive gears are prone to corrode when you leave the machine turned off with the door closed. No replacement required at this point.

I put a household water filter in front of the wet bar supply line. We're not drinking the water but we're using the ice to fill the cooler AND in drinks. No weird taste and no unintentional weight loss programs so far.

I will chalk this one up as that rare win for our boat budget.
