Hey J... what are the 2 extra bolts on the rear strut just above the cutlass bearing for? Is there a zinc mounted inside the V? Also, whats the anti fouling paint? Looks pretty copper rich!! ws
Those two bolts are holding the lateral strut support (the part that makes it a "V") onto the main strut.
As for the antifouling paint...I speifically looked for the highest copper content and ability to resist slime. This search led me to Petit's Trinidad SR. I changed over to black for a couple reasons...first, it modernizes the boat especially with the new boot stripe. Second, black antifouling paint doesn't show the slime growth nearly as much as blue does...on the blue, the whole bottom will look green or brown after a few weeks here.
