I need a ride

Hello,

I would like to hire a boat/captain to transport myself and my family from Fort Lauderdale to Freeport on Dec 30 2006. My family consists of 4 people, myself, my wife, my son (7) and my mother in law. If you are interested in making a few dollars for this one way trip please let me know. We are all from Pittsburgh so if your a Steeler Fan we can discuss this seasons breakdown of the title defense.

What kind of boat do you have?

I'm not a licensed captain, but I could be in a couple of weeks. I know plenty of people who have their six pack's. If they can get them, I could do it blindfolded and drunk.

All kidding aside, I'm a heck of a yachtsman with a 30 year pedigree. I've just never had anybody pay me for doing something that I love. I've been thinking of changing that too! Hell, if you have a really nice BIG boat, I may even do it for free!

I'm known for joking around on here, but I get real serious when I'm behind the wheel. I would love to challenge some of the "purists" on this site to a little boating skill test, FREEBIRD style! Let me know if you are serious. I am.

Call Captain Jim Turner in Ft Lauderdale if you have your own boat. 954-205-4001. I hired him years ago to bring my hatteras to the Chesapeake Bay. Rode along for the first three days and got a hell of an education. You'll learn a lot from Jim.
