Hurricane Beryl and Grenada and Insurance

Beryl looks to have hit Grenada.

I have watched Youtubes where cruisers were leaving their boats in Grenada or further south during hurricane season per insurance requirements.

Is that YouTube legend or have the insurance companies been dealt a game changer with this storm?

Grenada is south of "the Box" and many marine policies either excluded coverage north of Grenada or significantly increased premiums.
This track is remarkable and in my opinion will definitely change the belief of both boaters and insurers that south of "the Box" was safe!!

heard for years that many insurance companies had “north of Grenada “ as a hurricane season exclusion zone. Grenada has been hit before but very rarely.

I saw an AIS screen shot showing hundreds of boats heading south to Trinidad a couple of days ago.
