Finally replaced the oil seal and quad ring at the shaft couple. I'm new to this so took me a while to find the seal. Made by Timken National Seals. Part number 415984. Purchased mine from a marine transmission servicer in South Carolina, but found it listed on eBay and other online seal and bearing resellers. Can do a Google search to find list of sources that sell the seal.

Next came the moment of truth. Filled transmission with oil and so far so good. No leak.
