Thank you for that, PascalI am actually looking at options. I contacted Oberdorf this morning to confirm the pump… they are unsure of the model without clear marking on the current pump and measurement of inlet and outlet.. if I had clear marking I would not need them. And to boot they were rude .. probably a one pump sale is not worth their time. I get it. I am guilty of wanting an identical pump to facilitate a switch of pumps on the go, so to speak with similar sized openings. Streff

Get a magnetic drive March , I had two run almost daily here in Miami for 19 years. I only replaced them when one started to make noise, still worked .

A good source for pumps incl oberdorfers is depco on the west coast of Florida. Excellent customer service, I ve bought a number of pumps from them incl air con, oil change, fire pumps etc. Great folks.

For march pumps, flagship has great prices and tech support. As long as you match the flow and hose sizes, it should be an easy install. Steve should be able to confirm.

I ve been dealing with them since I converted my boat to chillers 8 years ago. So far I ve replaced 11 of the 20 failing Cruisair air handlers on the boat i run with theirs.

I replaced my OEM Oberdorfer with a March pump years ago.

I had 2 March pumps on Pau Hana, no problems whatsoever except for a couple of impeller replacements.

I have had the magnet fly apart on a march pump but it was very old. After using epoxy to put it back together it still was working and good for an emergency spare.

All these years I ve only had one march impeller failure, and it was a breeze to replace by just popping the cover. No need to remove the hoses!

Back when I got the boat 4 or 5 years ago I had that typical low flow problem with the OEM pump where you could run one or two units with no problem but if you turned all of them on they would trigger random high-pressure shutdowns. I replaced it with the pump Pascal recommended and it's been flawless ever since.
