How do you keep your refrig door shut?

Eric- That's a great latch and I would like to have one for myself. I did a fairly thorough internet search and could not find it. Somebody is selling this to either the fridge manufacturer or the boat builder. I suspect the boat builder. Make, model, year, etc?

I cut a 2 inch circle out of 1/4" plywood that covers the top and bottom doors. I screw a piece of 1/4" threaded rod into one of the non used hinge holes, slip the wooden washer on and then tighten up with a washer and wing nut. the whole works goes in a drawer with the cutlerly when not needed so it is always nearby. This arrangement is harder to use on long trips but mine are shorter trips and we don't have to get into the fridge that often.

The black plastic units are available by going to eBay, all departments, and search "dometic door latch" and then try "Norcold door latch"

There are multiple designs available that are more elegant than our boats original hook.
