Holding Tank status indicator U/S

I have a 42 LRC and the holding tank gauge is not working and I am looking for troubleshooting ideas.

I know it’s sounds stupid but those bulbs burn out. Have you replaced them? This was brought up in the past and that was the fix.

On our boat there is a breaker in the port engine room for the tank lights. I tested them in the off position last season. Thankfully there was someone on the dock to point out the test was complete as indicated by the foul smelling brown water coming out if the tank vent.
