Another genius. No details and just 2 pictures. Yeah that will sell before the end of the month …

Isn't that your neck of the woods? Just kidding!

The "dock rental including 2 washdowns a month" is also available as part of the sale (I probably misquoted that) didn't lend itself to building confidence at all. Private seller too. I'm not going to waste someone's time looking at it when we're not in a position to go forward, but this community is always a good place to ask questions. And if anyone else has questions about the boat in Bradenton/Cortez FL with the funny Greek name, I still have the 2020 survey report that was accompanied by the surveyor pulling me aside and saying "run, don't walk... Away." Or if someone wants me to go look locally for them I can certainly try. There's one in Labelle FL right now that I am almost positive was in Old Bridge Marina, N Ft Myers for Ian, with all doors open.

We never know. "Linda" could be a widow looking to unload her husband's "baby". However new carpet and engine paint could be an indication it was on the bottom. I'd take a close look at the electrics and aluminun in the bilge for corrosion.

We looked at her about 3 years ago. Linda is a broker. Really nice lady. She also likes to work out reasonable land contracts on a lot of the boats she sells. I know there was someone on here that looked at her a few months, maybe a year ago. I don't recall who is was. Perhaps they are still on here and can chime in. Call Linda she is super nice!

Thanks Bob - I'm torturing myself window shopping. I got a reminder in my OneDrive that the 12 month anniversary of the raising of our hulk had just happened. The marina finally started the demolition process so they can rebuild, and I drive by it every day. This boat is one of those that is on my wish list because she's in the Hat 53-58-63ft range, and I just love those boats. Every time the Admiral says "DeFever", or "Tollycraft" I respond "not a Hat". And she knows a big part of my love of the Hats is access, and another part is just the majesty of a Hatteras under way. I'll just keep watching, and maybe when we get to that point I'll call Linda and at least get to know her.04-22-2023 10_12_50 AM_W First St, Fort Myers, 33901, FL, United States.webp

PS... The salvagers gave me my DeWalt tool set box, that was the only thing they found onboard. About 1/2 the wrenches, and 2/3 of the sockets were still in the box. The socket wrenches were completely seized. I finally got around to filing warranty claims and DeWalt came thru with 2 new socket wrenches. The box wrenches and sockets cleaned up OK enough to be useable.
