  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
54' MOTOR YACHT (1985 - 1988)
While tracking down and resolving water incursions into my generator room aboard Pau Hana, I identified and removed AC condensation drains... Replaced the galley sink drain hose... Replaced the bilge pump hose, pump, check-valve, float switch and installed anti-siphon fitting. The crown jewel of this adventure in the bowels of the boat was accessing the aft end of the bilge which is also the forward wall of the black water tank, and epoxying a seam in the tank wall to eliminate that leak. While pursuing all this, I found 2 drains emptying into the bilge under the generator, that appear to be molded into the hull and don't come up inside the generator room. After a heavy rainstorm, I have water in the bilge... Anyone else seen anything like this? I'm stumped. I've stuck flashlights in them, turned out the lights and cannot see light coming up in the generator room. I can't find where they come out, and they're not wiring chases.

Suggestions? Comments? Head-scratches?

Possibly deck supper drains go there? It'd be a terrible design if so...

I found where the drains into the generator room come from - both engine rooms have small bilges forward of engine wells that are almost inaccessible.

I appreciate the suggestion but here's something from their listing...
