Tim we all can't afoard to date the prom queen. The barmaid can get the job done just as well. Just saying.

Sometime both have issues. It comes down to what you want a dock queen or a fisher...I find it hard to keep it looking good yacht quality and fishing hard. Every time i go there is always something scratched or beat up.I try to fix as it brakes so it does not mount up.

I've fought my share of big fish over the years and the bigger and heavier the boat is the less maneuverable it is when your in the see saw battle. Best boats I've ever fished on was the 40' Merritt's . Sure these big boats catch fish but they use heavier tackle and more crew to compensate.

You have just explained the whole thing behind the custom boys on the east coast. Light, fast, fuel sippers and handle well.

And once you do, watch out, like gum on your shoe. Incessant stupid robo emails, you wind up having to block them. Learned that lesson way back. But, I just inquired about one on craig's list, I did not realize was their listing ... immediately started emails re what do I own now, do I have boat to sell, etc. Very odd outfit. I don't see how anyone actually sells a boat through them.

I've found that a justlooking@yahoo.com address works just fine when there's something on the market I really want to look at. As for Pop Yachts, I've never heard anything good about them.

I have a spam email address I use for all online purchases and stuff. Those pop yacht monkeys spam whenever I look at a boat!

I'm sure they sell boats because they cater to a different group of people than normal yachtworld crowd. Younger generations are used to that type of marketing. Their business model is very active sales instead of passive. Does it work? Hell if I know. I search craiglist a lot. searchtempest.com works great to search the whole couiuntry

You don't REALLY think that's one I use, do you? Mine too is much more "colorful". :D

I knew you wouldn't let 'ol tom5518 or Haywood, as a few outfits know me as, down....;)
