Won't work for me. Too much draft and too big for Randy to keep clean.

Plus be warned. Pop yachts has an interesting way of doing business.

I spend lots of time on all sizes of boats and for some reason the 41c is my sweet spot. I like the 42c also as its drier and more modern inside but the additional hp and fuel needed to run it makes me think I chose right. Fyi I can't get a 52 back here anyway. Too much draft.

But it is a 54 for 150,000 what a deal just take it home at high tide & leave Freebied and Pucker at home.

Whats this tide you speak of. We get about 6" of swing depending on the wind.

Pop's not on YachtWorld anymore. Not sure why but I suspect that perhaps their behavior caught up with them. I don't know how you sell any boat now'days if you're not on YachtWorld.

It is kinda the bible of listings. But when i search the back lots small mariners and sutch. You find a lot odd stuff not listed on yacht world like the 54 i found this am.Hatteras for sale by owner is also not all on yacht world.
Yes i do believe he is not on there any more but he is out there still.

Hatteras on normal day is inches also. Morehead city is about 4 to 5 foot Charloeston SC about 10 foot cracy how it workes. Let freebird Push!!! He has practice.

"Ho Tail?"

I get a feeling that if we show up in a cab to purchase that Hatt, even the ho's won't take us seriously. :D

Well drive up in an old yugo and see what they say.

That's been listed with them for a long time. 154K for a decent 54C is a deal but there's plenty in those pictures to make me think there's much more to the story. I like the hose running out through the ER door. Or the radar done sitting on the bridge.

Looks like they've taken the realtor route in that you have to create an account to even look at pics. No thanks.

I agree Jack it looks like a POS I was trying to show to the both of them You can not go by year and size to price these old Hats. You almost have to go and look for yourself. Sometime a low priced one is a deal and sometime it is not a deal we have all said over and over purchase the best one you can afford. DO NOT PURCHASE TO FIX UP...

Just my opinion but the 52 is a much better boat for a fishing platform.

Never been on a 54 been on a 60 its a beast compared to my 52. I am where i need to be much bigger and i would have to change fishing grounds. DRAFT!! Hatteras and organ inlet is sometime marginal now watching the depth finder you get a tight butt when you see 4 and 5 feet water at 20 knots.

Don't worry, I learned my lesson about fixer upper Hatt's about ten years ago. First and last time I've ever taken a bath that big on a boat or anything else, but I was in good company when the bottom fell out of the market.

I've fought my share of big fish over the years and the bigger and heavier the boat is the less maneuverable it is when your in the see saw battle. Best boats I've ever fished on was the 40' Merritt's . Sure these big boats catch fish but they use heavier tackle and more crew to compensate.

And once you do, watch out, like gum on your shoe. Incessant stupid robo emails, you wind up having to block them. Learned that lesson way back. But, I just inquired about one on craig's list, I did not realize was their listing ... immediately started emails re what do I own now, do I have boat to sell, etc. Very odd outfit. I don't see how anyone actually sells a boat through them.
