It's "Wait and See" for us right now. Looking like 50/50 at this point.

In my 58LRC it's a full day run to/from South Seas (10 hours) from Bradenton.

If Thursday is not doable, then likely cancel the entire trip.... ugghhh

We are at Twin Dolphin right now and think we are going to make a run for it tomorrow and spend a few days at Tween waters. We were already planned to get there on Tuesday so just a day earlier and of course to a different scene than originally expected.

For those still planning to attend with larger boats I am at South Seas now and there are 2 100 foot boats here. The 2nd one did come in at high tide.

I’ll check back in Thursday to see if anyone is still planning to attend. Storm threw a wrench into our plans for sure.

Still planning to attend if weather permits and current forecasts are reasonably accurate. Better idea on Wed afternoon.

Sorry to say we're not going to make it.

Our house is in Zone A in Palmetto and we evacuated Monday night to Sebring, FL. Returning home tomorrow for whatever clean up there is to do and then take a look at the boats late tomorrow or Friday. Simply not enough time for us to run down and back at this point.

Really hate we're going to miss this!!

Damn, this storm really threw a wrench into everyone's plans this week.

The storm is out of here (Punta Gorda), but we are dealing with storm surge/blue moon tides that are way up and causing local flooding that we haven't seen in Charlie, ?? or Ian,

Anyway, "Katerina" seems to have somehow managed to not top over the pilings (1" to spare) last night and all looks intact on board.

We are still planning to make the trip from Punta Gorda to Cayo Costa Friday morning. Will anyone be there? From CC, we'll run down to South Seas Saturday morning, unless the weather decides to act up.

Hope to see the group soon.

We will be there on Saturday. From Labelle we are going to Tween wWaters for a couple days to finally relax. Generator keeps getting air in the Racor and shutting down plus only getting enough fuel to run one AC. Playing that game now since Labelle has no power. So we won’t make it to Pelican Bay even during the day. I’m

And now the poop hit the fan. Generator starving for fuel (not the filter) and at this point won’t handle any AC loads. Shut it down now so I can start later to run overnight for the fridge. Sleeping in the hot box tonight. I’ll take a shower just before bed to be as comfortable as possible.

Go boating they said. It’ll be fun they said.😂😂😂😂

Katerina is anchored off Useppa, enjoying a nice afternoon breeze.

We plan to run down to South Seas in the morning and arrive around 12pm on the rising tide. I believe my buddy will be in around 2pm on his 58LRC as well.

Looking forward to meeting some new Hatteras friends!!!

J

We are at Tween waters heading up in the morning. Got to use the pool, really needed that scene. After running to Labelle and no AC Wednesday night I needed some “resort”.
