OK, I’m showing my age now, I can remember a post about 18 or 19 years ago and I can’t remember
What I had for dinner yesterday. The post was something like this…… All you old boat owners here on
Sam’s site, what other things do you have that are old, like what do you drive besides your every day car? Me
It’s a 1983 Datsun 280ZX. Back then it was Kathy’s car and had a Massachusetts tag “Kathy L”.
Some other old stuff, 1903 Springfield 3006, sister rife, German Mauler model 98, Ruger 357 mag
3 screw mfg around 1969, this is the original model before it was a 2 screw, Winchester Model 24 side by side 12 Gauge,
this was built in 1940. I’m not a collector by any means, just don’t like to sell stuff until it’s time, like
the Kathy L after 44 years.

1974 Gibson Dove. Found sitting in someone's basement for nearly 50 years.

1973 Guild D50. I bought it around 1975.

They look really neat and I bet they sound good too. I new something would turn up!

I just received the price for a Hatteras sign with the rockwell logo. 700.00. I have no idea what shipping will be. That is a 36"x16"×8" single faced sign. Two sided would be 800.00.

How about the glass(plastic or whatever the face is) by itself without the light box?

Just panels printed on plastic laminated to aluminum would be 150.00 each.

If you re-pop it you should start with the vintage hatteras check mark (hatteras island)

Thought this dropped off the face of the earth.

Is there a group buy threshold, or is this group too small?

I’m back at the Gibson Dove. Beauty! I had a 79 Les Paul Delux WINE FINISH. Most beautiful guitar I ever saw. That was back when I was playing the rock clubs in Boston in the 80’s. Dating myself but spent a little time at Studio 54 in pursuit of a record contract with Polygram. Loved the Gibson guitars. Lots of folks more knowledgeable than I swear by Martins but man, you could really get a Gibson to sing if you could play. That was of course back during that era. No idea if they are still that sensitive. I used to love how close those strings were to the fretboard!

When I get home I am going make one for myself, no one else seemed interested. I think shipping could be expensive.
