Hey Charlie, maybe a few of us could go in and rent a house or something if anybody else plans to make a week out of this. I talked to Chris aka Boss Lady, and he's in for that idea. I'm sure we could come up with something on the water nearby, and there's no reason we can't have some fun and do a little fishing while we're in the area.

I'm looking forward to what looks like an excellent adventure. 3 days around boats with knowledgeable people who have thought out an excellent schedule of events have me enthused. Airfare from GPT is less than $300, a hotel room rate of $85 and a reasonable fee for the seminar strikes me as well worth the time and expense.

I've been to more than a few continuing education seminars and this feels like a good one. I gather they still have some openings and am taking it upon myself to encourage for a good turnout.

We are flying into Raleigh Durham Sunday afternoon and leaving Early Thursday morning. If anyone has a similar schedule and would like to ride with us in the rental car between Raleigh and Beaufort send me a PM.

Getting my notes together and looking forward to Hatteras University 2010. Anyone one else landing / going to be in the area around then or interested in sharing a cab from New Bern to Beaufort? Flight lands Sunday (5/16/10) at 12:10pm.

Somebody picked up the old thread from last year! It would be helpful if we kept this year's posts all on one thread relevant to 2010.

I may be able to come over to New Bern from JB (where my boat will be) and pick some folks up. I have been giving some thought to bringing the boat from New Bern (current home port) to JB Sunday afternoon and transporting folks via boat. Anyone up for that?
