If I ever get around to it, I'd replace it with an above the deck model Whale gusher.
My OEm unit has plastic ends with a brass tube body. The plastic hose barb on the bottom busted off as did the D ring handle leaving me with a sharp plastic knob.
At a quart per stroke, do the math on 100 gallons!! ws

FLASH... Dateline CSI Chicago:
yacht owner goes berserk and kills hot water heater... Yep Ed... thats residue from the pile of mush that was the old heater. Sometimes I am lost... there are so many other places they couldve put that kinda stuff rather than stuff it where you cant get at it. The new one has a nuisance leak in the OEM tubing that may well require a new hatch to access it... stay tuned! ws
