Hatteras Expo - Special HOF Invitation

Sam's Marine & The Hatteras Owners Forum are pleased to announced that Hatteras Yachts has extended a special invitation to forum members who are interested in attending the upcoming 2008 Hatteras Expo. The event will be held at the end of May at the manufacturer's facility and in surrounding New Bern, North Carolina.

This invitation is for any current, past or future Hatteras owner and limited to the first fifty guests who respond.

In addition to all of the exciting events that Hatteras has in store, both Sam's Marine and Deep River Traders will be on hand as well.

It is memorial weekend. I was with Kerri Theophilus, the president of Hatteras, the other day and was invited however will be racing the ragboat in New England so can't go.

Look at the invite link. It shows the dates of May 30 - June 1. The last Monday in May is the 26th. That's Memorial Day.

I just received a call from Eric Cashion, Hatteras' Marketing Director and he said that several HOF members have registered for the Expo event coming up at the end of May.

He wanted me to let everyone know that there are still some spots available and extend the invitation again to anyone who might still want to participate.

It really is a unique opportunity to see how these things are engineered and manufactured from the ground up. Hatteras also goes all out on the entertainment and food during the event so I'm sure you will enjoy it.

Eric has also said that he would like to set aside some time to meet with HOF members and myself concerning the Hatteras Owners Club that we've discussed on several occasions. Hatteras is in support of such a club and this would be a great opportunity to provide some input into it.

We look forward to seeing everyone who is able to attend. If you are planning on being there, please post a reply so we know who from the HOF will be there.
