Paul Hall, the Hatteras Senior Customer Care Representative from the New Bern factory, was our speaker Friday. Paul had a Power Point slide presentation about the history of Hatteras from the beginning with lots of old great pictures. Everyone really enjoyed it because it was so comprehensive. During the presentation Paul took many questions from the members. At the end Paul took questions from us about our boats for over an hour. After Paul, we had lunch and some members took the opportunity to ask Paul one on one about things about their individual Hatteras’. An invaluable morning with a very knowledgeable resource!
Some of the attendees (wives and one loyal husband) went to the American Visual Arts Museum for a tour and had a fabulous lunch in the Museum’s restaurant.
At 4:30 we had our cocktail party on the dock with Shrimp and other goodies for snacks. The “snacks” are probably over done but hey, it’s a party! We had a Steel Drum performer playing Reggae music. The party lingered into the evening as the members enjoyed visiting with each other. A group of members left to go to the National Aquarium which is in Baltimore for an extremely interesting visit to see what goes on under our boats in the water. Very worth while and had a good focus on how we can protect our resources and the endangered species and why.
Another great day at the rendezvous!
