I did similar trip from Mystic, CT to Palmetto, FL a couple years ago.

Will be cool to relive it.

Should be a no brainer for a LRC. They are made for long range and generally have very good redundant systems throughout the boat.

As long as the fuel is clean (always a concern), I don't see any problems, other than draft, if heading down the ICW.

The draft restriction is fun in the Georgia ICW.... don't ask me how I know...

I wonder how he works out video permission with the owners. Maybe a discounted rate or whatnot. Call me old school but sharing my new pride and joy for clicks and subscribers would be uncomfortable.

Hard to follow this youtube adventure without paying to subscribe to the captain's channel, but it looks like the boat has some sort of mechanical issues and is currently getting repaired in Cape May, NJ.

They had the port engine harmonic balancer disintegrate on them.... BTDT... they had best change BOTH of them...

again... don't ask me how I know...

Had one my worst boating days EVER in Cape May with my 58 LRC... they are describing a minor version of my docking experience there...
