Hatteras 53MY total refit to new 24.7 knots

Here's a long video of an older total 53MY refit with new engines, new genny, new prop[s & shafts, new controls, plus much more. The boat now does 24.7 knots.

I tried to buy it in 04 for the asking price of $240K. AFAIK, the broker still owns it.

That sounds like a deal. She'd probably bring close to that today if she's still in top shape.

Yes. Always wanted a classic 53MY. Ended up finding this ED in the same boathouse but was more than I wanted to spend. She was in just great shape, I said WTH and did it anyway.
