New project underway, our 4th Hatteras restoration. This time we're taking a 1967 34c and modifying her to become an express fisherman. if you're interested in participating and want to own a one of a kind vessel please drop me a note. she'll be at my private yard in ft lauderdale next week, and we'll begin the make-over.

I would be interested in your work. I have a '63 34 SC hull myself and have been thinking I would prefer an express. Reason being I am 6'7" tall and the salon interior height without headliner is about 6'3" tall due to a raised floor to avccomodate Yanmars. I can be reached at 561-719-4357...Bill Johnson

headroom is a major issue. we're purposely raising the floor both for visibility as well as enginability. we can maintain her lines by eliminating the bridge and expressing the layout.

i'm pressing hard to get the 53c into the water before i get too deep into this one, but we love input, ideas, and better directions. feel free to call or visit anytime. i have no dreams of being tom slane's competitor. we know what we're doing, but the difference is that we actually do this for fun. i haven't a clue how to build a boat properly and make money simultaneously.
