Has anyone found a good way to stick those L shaped rubber strips on the rough fiberglass edge of the removable cockpit hatch covers? I have been swearing at them for 10 years. I did buy new ones from Sam's but they were no better.

No.......... the only real solution is to sand and finish the hatch edges so they aren't rough anymore. It isn't a very good solution, but it is the only one that I ever found.

Hi maynard we have the same boat. I removed mine. I dont think they did much good. They were loose when I bought the boat.. I keep the drains clear and never seems to be problem.

I used some yellow 3M weatherstrip sealer I got at NAPA. Sorry I don't remember the number but it was a black tube and only came in yellow. It's been 4+ years and still holding fine.
