Hey Pascal...I haven't been able to see the Hat Cam pictures lately. I just get the box with the red X. i right click and select show picture. No change. How else can I check the weather at my kid's house.

i don't know, it's working fine... which page ?
use http://www.sandbarhopper.com/ it auto refreshes the image only, not the whole page.
although on week days, the image ins't updated between 10am and 4pm or so as i need to move the computer around...

Pascal,

I have bookmarked the first link you had the HattCam going to, and it works as far as seeing the image most of the time, but lately, it seems to get "stuck" on the same image.

Gee, did you know the Hatt Cam would be in such demand when you first hooked it up? I bet some of us are addicted to it! :)

Ed plans to get a "secondary Hatt Cam" going on my boat (in Miami) at some point so I'll be able to fill the void when necessary! :D

both pages work, they're pulling the same image.. the one on sandbarhopper.com is faster as i found a way to refresh the image instead of reloading the whole page.

during week days, the camera is disconect between around 10am and 4pm as i need the computer somewhere else... and the camera cable cant 'reach!

weekends, it shoudl be on all day...

Hey Pascal you are correct. i only have the problem between those hours. I don't think you are allowed to stop the Hat Cam. How dare you put the great Hat Cam computer to work on other projects. I think I will complain to the Hat Cam readers group...Thanks Pascal

maybe i shoudl pass a cup around to collect $ for a longer USB cable ! :-)

i hate the way these things are ridiculously expensive... i bought a 10' extention for like $25 at office depot... I'd need another 15' to reach the dinette where i do some work during the day... its not the $25 it's how ridiculously expensive these cables are! although I admit i havent' looked on line yet...

i had considered a wireless cam but decided agaisnt as all these things end up interfering with each other. I have a wireless link for the sat tv between the saloon and the galley but it kills my phone bluetooth headset... whe i need to do is put the cam on the helm computer and connect a router to share the cel connection from my notebook...
