Has anyone changed thier 37 convertable double twin v berth to a center or off center queen? Id love to see pics and measurements. I am going to live abaord and wanted more room.
Thanks

I did something like this on my Series I 36C, which is a smaller boat. The problem is that it is difficult to photograoh with the lenses I have, I don't have a wide enough wide angle lens. Essentially what we did was convert to an offset double, and flip the door around to get it to open to port instead of stbd. If you are ever in Annapolis area, I'd be happy to show it to you.

Was the 37 ever offered with a factory double or queen? If it was, that might be helpful to you.

I dont think there was a option. Im glad to hear you were able to do it though, Im sure I could as well then.
Thanks

Well, if you find yourself in the area, let me know and I can show you what we did. It's held up nicely and looks factory. It's just hard to shoot because the space is so small.

Thanks, Ill keep that in mind. I may go thru there this summer, if I cant stand the heat down here.

Hi, I just bought a 37' a couple of weeks ago and it was converted to a queen V berth prior. It works out nicely. Basically, the bunk room bulkhead was cut out and the entire area is now one large state room.

That’s the first time I’ve ever seen a Fishtank on a boat. 😃

Beautiful job on the modification. I’d like to do that some day on the 58.

Is that the old wild bill?

I'd hate to be a fish in that tank if you ever got in some rough weather. I'm going to guess all of the water would slosh out in 6 to 7 foot seas.

Hows that tank do underway? Doesn't look secured, and how much splash's out of it?

And the Fish might get just a little sea sick

Hi, yes this is the old “Wild Bill”. I brought it up from the Port to Jax last week. My wife and I planning on a refit end of this year.

The fish tank is no longer on the boat. Lol! That was the previous owners. I can’t imagine it underway either!

Gee, not only did I do the same conversion, I wrote a completely identical post about it. Imagine that.

With an iPhone try the Pano mode to get wide angle pictures. It can be hard to keep the phone level but by leaning holding it along a door frame you can get pretty wide angle shots
