  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
41' DOUBLE CABIN (1962 - 1965)
I’ve been kicking the idea around for years, but I’ve decided to pull the trigger and do a full time, liveaboard charter thing.

Ironically enough, there is a 61 Tollycraft in the same marina where we’re taking Beenaghettto to LBK. Talked to the broker yesterday after seeing the listing and realizing the boat is sitting exactly where we’re going. I had made plans a while back to fly out to Washington to look at one, but it went under contract before I could get there. It’s rare to find one on the east coast. Maybe it’s a sign. I’ve never ran one but have been on two, including a new one in Saint Pete back in the late 80’s that I absolutely fell in love with.

I’ve always loved the 70CPMY and fell in love all over again when I boarded a few a month or so ago when I was looking at boats for a client. A rainy day on this 60MY gave me new inspiration for an aft deck with wing doors and side decks, but I love the galley up, VIP stateroom, and full beam ER on the 70CPMY.

I’m also thinking a 65LRC would be the best bet for my needs/wants, so I may go looking at those too. Thinking I’ll spend summers in Tennessee around Chattanooga and winter in Florida while doing the charter thing at both locations. May even charter out segments of The Great Loop if I can line up enough clients to keep it going.

I know where there is a great example of a 70CPMY, but I’m not familiar with any 65LRC’s. Anybody know of any good ones anywhere?

Looked at 70 cpy or 65 no cockpit if correct brochure.
I would want a dayhead and are expensive to put in as a modification.
Idea good.

A day head is an excellent and exclusive benefit of the 65LRC. I’m not sure how you could incorporate one into a 70CPMY or smaller.
