Cockpit Step is approximately 18"Wx12"Dx12"H. Piano hinge on backside of cover. Cover and base both made of fiberglass with black treads on top of cover. I've attached a picture that I hope will display properly.

Are you going to be in NJ or CT anytime soon?

I'm in CT and am interested in the Smart Y Adapter and the dock box. What price do you have in mind for them? I could meet you in CT on Fri if you're available. I'll pm my cell # to you.

For anyone interested in any of my "spare parts", please call me as I'm not in front of the computer all the time, but do have my cell, 732-915-1110. I will be in Eastern CT on Friday and will be able to take "inventory" at that time, so I can't commit to specific quantities of each item right now.

So far, I have interest in:
Galley Maid - MR10 stators
Dock Lines
Racor Filters
Wet/Dry Vac
Dock Box

I've had inquiries on the Y-Adapter. Let me repeat, you plug your 50amp 125/250volt cord into the boat. The dockside of your shore cord gets plugged into the single side of the adapter and the two pigtails each get plugged into a 30amp shore power receptacle. No takers as of yet.

Also, inquiries on the power cords, but no takers.

I will call anyone with an "order" on Friday morning when I'm packing everything up, so I can confirm quantity of any items requested. If they want to pick them up at the marina in Mystic while I'm there, I can do that, or I can make stops along Route 95 on my way back to New Jersey to drop things off to make it easier.

Call me and we'll talk. 732-915-1110

Re: Getting out of Boating (Short Term) - Selling various parts - Eastern CT & Centra

I was on the boat on Friday up at Seaport Marine in Mystic, CT. It seems that someone was not paying attention to security as a number of my personal possessions are gone. Fishing rods/reels, tools, 1 power cord, electrical adapters, dock lines, fenders, spare bilge pump & float switch, small electronics, etc. I have contacted the Stonington, CT police department and will be submitting to them a list of the items missing from the boat. I had to quickly pack up my belongings as the yard would only hold the boat in the slings for about 5 hours. I will be going through the boxes this week and will get in touch with the people interested in the parts.

Has anyone ever dealt with Brad Ferguson at Northeast Boat Sales (agent) when it comes to matters like this?

Thank you for your patience.

Was the boat at the yard that's hauling it when it was violated? Did they break in or was it left open?

I hate to say it but things like this happen too often and usually its a group of guys in the area or someone from the yard.

I hope whoever the culprits are will rot in Hell.. I have more respect for a mugger or an armed robber because at least they are showing themselves for what they are. For a boater to steal from another boater is despicable.

Apparently, we should be careful with what we post here as the bank already has been made aware that I have "started my own website" to sell all of my personal possessions on route from Mystic, CT to home in New Jersey. The bank has a fax of my posting on the HOF site. It was not supplied by me, so someone is lurking and knows who to fax these things to at the bank. Not that it matters, I asked my dad if he wanted any of the items for his boat first, prior to posting. Also, I paid a lot more for the items than what I'm selling them for.

The Stonington, CT Police have been made aware of the "missing" items, but I am still waiting on a complete inventory that was taken at Seaport Marine in Mystic by the agent so I can determine if the items went "missing" between January 11th, when the boat left Monmouth Beach, NJ and January 20th, when the boat arrived at Seaport Marine in Mystic.

I would ask the bank about their reason for the list? Are the items under their loan? If not there is not a valid reason for their scrutinizing you.

Re: Getting out of Boating (Short Term) - Selling various parts - Eastern CT & Centra

None of the items were on the loan.

Watch out for the phrase "fully found". When a boat is sold this way, it includes EVERYTHING aboard at the time of the sale. Is the bank contending that you sold your boat to them "fully found"?

Sounds like "legaleese" for I get your stuff and you get screwed. You just have to love a system that was designed and is run by the ones who benefit from it.

It sure as heck is. Although I may have the phrasing wrong on this one, watch out when a towing company (or anyone else) comes up to your vessel to lend a hand when aground or otherwise and asks whether you are in any "immediate peril." Answer the wrong way and if they assist, they own a part of your boat!

Seaport Marine? Not surprised, we stayed there a couple of nights, it was the worst and most expensive marina we have ever used. There was a drug related murder of a guy living on board there a few years ago.

There is a large Marine Consignment store (branch of Marine Consignment of Wickford RI) right up the street; you might check with them and the RI store if anyone had come by with stuff like yours.
