I think I'm becoming a computer geek. I was just educated by my son as to how to put my boats photo in that little box.
This post is just to see if I did it right.
You have mastered the avatar you are now a computer geek now go load some pictures in the gallery so we can get a closer look at her also put your home port.
I second that and I ask everyone to update their Info Its always good to know someone's Home port.
And Doc keep the day job for sure but we do expect more pictures of Blue Note specially during the repower. And if you can't get there let me know and my bro will go get some pics. He is a computor geek by Trade .
I will post photos on the repower, although I expect most of them will be taken by ZMI. Actually this is probably a good thing as I think they will document everything very carefully, they are that kind of outfit. I am going down there Monday (if I am not awake all night in the ER Sunday) and getting my tools off the boat and some other stuff like soft goods, CDs, etc. I will try to shoot some then, it is actually one of the best set up marinas/yards I've ever seen.
You need a photo resizing program. There are several free ones available online. I use Corel Photo Center, but that is because it came with my laptop. Once you have a program installed that will reduce the size, just select that function and you usually have the option of selecting a file size or a percent of the original size.
Another good Free one is Irfanview download it, then go to Image then resize. You can chose a size there or go even smaller by entering your own #s for size. Always save it as a different name so that you preserve the original. Try it out if you get stuck send me a PM. Trial and error will get you there .
Oh oh...without a good chart, you're going to be reduced to taking soundings with a sinker and string......you don't want to be the only member that has ever run aground on their way to the gallery.
