Helping a friend, allision M15
Gear was slipping at low idle. Ought rebuild from Arcadia. Installed and have zero pressure. Tried cracking lines, checked all fittings, replaced filter topped off baffled. Any ideas ?

Are you sure the oil is filled to the proper level when running. This happened to a friend of mine who said he filled the transmission with oil only to find he was a gallon and a half short in each side.

Make sure the filters screen gasket is good and sealed. If you suck a vacuum there you get no fluid flow.

Indeed the gasket at the screen can be a pita to get right. Even a small tiny leak will get air in the pump in result in low or no pressure. At least on the M20

Also, on the M20 level is checked engine running. If the gear was filled to the Mark cold it will need to be topped up. Once the right level is reached mark the dipstick cold as a reference

Low pressure and slipping at low rpm is almost always a low level problem

If the rebuild came from Acadian, then I would call them for advice as to why it will not engage.
