How is everybody down south doing with this thing? It looks like it's going to park itself off our coast for a few days. Not looking forward to that mess.

We had tons of rain and a lot of flooding. The Hatt just took it in stride. The Chris was on its lift and I had it well tied, but was nervous listing to the creak and groaning of the cables. We had 70 mph squalls
and the CC was up in the air higher than the HATT.
Lots of clean up to do. It could have been much worst.

Waiting to see what this one does. I've been watching it very closely as it may park itself just east of us. Forecast is for it to reach hurricane strength Monday. I have a few friends that are at Block Island for the weekend. Can't believe they went on Thursday and if they don't get back today, they're stuck there until next weekend at best. Wind has picked up here and seas are forecast at 10-14 on the ocean and 7-8 on the sound. Hoping for the best for all.

Interesting how it's Forcast to take a Jog to the west when it hits hurricane strength. I would asume it will be at least a powerful northeaster for north jersey and LI
