Gas Engine Help Requested

Thank you for all your ideas. It turned out to be broken down gas. We drained 90 gallons out, (thankfully not a full tank) and, with new gas, it's running. There's some smoothness issues but it's 90 percent of the way there.

Well...old gas is nobody's friend and ethanol fuel will break down even quicker than non ethanol. Glad you found the fix!
