Advice?

You will need to install a solenoid and plumb the intake line into a fresh water tank. Generally not a problem.

One of the easiest and best changes you can make.

My "new" 45 has a fresh water flush vacuflush toilet. The fresh water is always under pressure. As soon as you flush, water is provided. There is a shutoff ball valve at the head to simplify servicing. Very simple system. Water cannot backflow, as its always pressurized. Even if the pump is turned off, there is no way water would be able to drain back to the supply tank, as there is a mechanical valve at the entrance to the head. I don't see a need for a solenoid. I love it. No more smell or complicate winterizing.

Raz marine in Ft Lauderdale has a mock-up on display. They can supply all plumbing , you will need a solenoid for the Galley Maid system. I should do this , as salt water leads to calcification in the discharge hoses .

We had to replace the hose for our aft head from the pump to the holding tank due to calcification (it actually looked like someone had poured concrete into the hose). I've seen the RAZ mockup, but we actually replaced the midships head with a Dometic freshwater head and kept the aft head on salt water as a water conservation measure. That being said, one of our marina neighbors who advised on hose replacement highly recommended keeping a spray bottle of white vinegar beside the saltwater head and "spritzing" it after flushing. He and his wife claimed they were pushing 5+ years on hose for saltwater head, and had a freshwater head for inport/coastal cruising where they could refill water tanks easily.

Thank You All!
