Hi Greg,

Do you have any pictures or dates of the units

thx

KEvin

Will try and post some pics later today.

Fantastic price. Model #? I take it it is maybe a 1944? Navionics or C-Map?

Why are you selling it?

The plotter is GD-1920C according to my instruction/installation books. 10.4" color monitor C-MAP NT. The books indicate about 2005 vintage. Don't know on the scanner. The Magnetron inside the unit says 6kw and the array is 6'. That doesn't match anything in the product specs I have been able to find. Unit works great. I am selling because I got a "Brother-in-law deal" (really!) on some other equipment I can network together. I had this and a 4212 Garmin before.

Thanks to all for your consideration.

Hi you have mail thanks Ray

The 1920 is just the plotter "brains" and screen, then the radar module gets added on to it on the back, creating whatever radar config one wants. OEM 6kw is called the 1944 and comes with a four foot scanner standard. So someone has cadged something together a bit. The radar unit will have its own model number on the back. RU-something as I recall. I have the "Black Box" versions of these, a 1920 and a 1944. They are guts are mounted right next to each other, the two are identical save for the radar module on the back of one. So if someone asks you for some particulars, there you go.

Anyway, a great unit and a heck of a deal. If we were about to go cruising again full time (another year or two off unfortunately) I'd be all over this as I'd like a second radar and a second screen up on the FB.

Pictures added above.

One last shot before it goes on EBay.

On Ebay now. Still available. Would prefer to sell it here if possible.

greg, you going to be around for the rendezvous?

Billy,

Can't make it this year.

I am interested in the display only. this is a fairly old thread, is it still for sale?

thanks,
Eric
