  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
Not Currently A Hatteras Owner
Does anyone have an opinion about these. I am looking at the model with LED power indicators on the end. Price is abput the same as Hubble.
By the way, vote for your choice of date for the Hatteras Rendezvous at The Wharf in Orange Beach AL.

I have a 50A/250V one and am planning on buying another. I have a friend who is a marine electrician and a full time liveaboard who has 2 that are about 3 years old. He was the one who suggested I try them. Price should be way less than Hubble. I paid $479 for one last year. Defender has them for even less.

I have one as well. Paid less than $450 for it online. It has been in daily use since june and I like it fine. There are two LED lights on either end and on the dock side one of the two LED's stopped working fairly soon after purchase however.

shawn, i just looked at furrion's website, and their cords come with a 5 year warranty. you may want to send it back to have the l e d fixed

Do they have a loaner program while its out being fixed?

Probably a dumb question here, but is there a reason that I want a single 50A cord rather than 2 30A's? I have an adapter so I can do either.

You will get full amperage with a 50 amp cordset. If you have 50amp dockside I'd opt for that for my first option. I carry 2 30 amp cordsets with a reverse y adapter for places that don't have 50 amp dockside.

I also give a thumbs up on the furion product line I've been using a 50 amp 250v cordset for 2 seasons with no problems.
