I have some shinny brass particulates in my fuel filter and my transfer pump isn't working now. I suspect it is from the transfer unit.
Small Particles are not picked up by a magnetic.
As soon as I noticed this in my filter, I haven't used the boat and sent the fuel to be tested.
Does anyone know what metal is used on the impeller of a transfer pump and steps that need to be taken to maintain good running Cat 18s 1300 hrs on a 2006 50 Hatteras
