Ft Pierce fishing report 3/3

Got out a little after 1st light. It was a slow morning with only a few bites. As the weather began to get snotty and I was pissed about getting skunked we got a good hit on a Yozuri Bonita. My wife and her brother double teamed it, one reeling the other spooling . It ended up being a 17# Wahoo in 85' of water. By this time (11am) the wind turned out of the North and we called it a day. A red and white Cedar Plug saw several toothy bites but no hookups. Dark skirts had some action too.

I hope you can do better than that in the upcoming Hatt owner tournament you talked about. Unless of course I'm not on your boat and the winning boat (which I will be on) takes home some cash!

I would not plan on it. This weekend looks to be a nightmare! Sail bites have been slow, it is just has not been a good winter . I am all for a get together on the 10th but if things stay as they are now it will likely be on land.....

I hate to admit it, but I had forgotten when your proposed fishing get together was until Scott called me yesterday.

I wouldn't have been able to make it this week-end, then again maybe I could have, it's only Tuesday here in TN.

I'm sure "mini" of us would love to get together at a future time when the seas are a little calmer. I'm over rough seas myself, and now know how fish feel when they get thrown back. You reckon they're happy to be free again, or sad because they weren't good enough to be kept?

I know, I'm gonna stop whining, I promise.
