Ft. Lauderdale Area

Does anyone have any suggestions for a marina in Ft. Lauderdale. I have used a few, but there are so many. We need a place to leave our 50C for a week befor we go to the bahamas. we will be coming around the keys andleaving in there for 1 week.

I know there is Peir66 and some others, but I dont want to spend a fortune, we will not be there but for 2 nights durring that week the boat is there. It would be nice to be able to leave the cars there while we are gone to the bahamas and then we will be staying there for 1 night upon our return.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have limited travel experience in that area.

I have stayed at Bahia Mar several times. Kind of a vacation in your home town sorta. Nice as you have access to the beach. They put in all new floating docks a couple of years ago. Rates were not too bad and they do come down in the summer a bit. They have a minimum footage rate of 40'.

Ok, thats where I am staying. It is less expensive to keep the boat there than it is anywhere I called. Plus I like the location.
